Look around you. Wake up. What do you see? Look beyond yourself and your life. Look further. Outside your comfort zone. It is not a pretty site. We live in a world of turmoil. Hypnosis and meditation can be a distraction from the chaos. These tools are no answer, by any means, but may be able to help you cope. They may help you come to see the world as it is or as you would like it to be. I use hypnosis and meditation with people who have certain expectations or goals they are trying to reach. Yes, for pleasure. Hypnotic or guided meditative release is intoxicating and satisfying. Though there are many other practical applications for the practices. First you should have a goal in mind - what you personally want to accomplish. A distraction? Rest? Rejuvination? Better health and well-being? Be able to tell me what you want during our first conversation. Do you want to briefly escape? Do you want to better yourself, your life? What is it that you want to do? What do you want to feel? I can take you deeper than you ever thought possible.

True, but it does not happen in one session. Establishing a new way of thinking, changing behavior and habits takes time. It is a process.

Mindfulness meditation is about focus. Focus on a thought, emotion or mantra. The point is to keep yourself in the moment. When you find your mind drifting or random thoughts entering your mind, simply redirect yourself to the present. Back to your thought. Be in the present. Focus and refocus. The process is not about the goal but rather making a practice to be in the now.

Reiki does not incorporate hypnosis necessarily; however, it can enhance the experience. A guided meditation or light trance will lower inhibition and open the mind. When working with energy (any type of energy) it is best if the subject is in a complete state of relaxation. How better to achieve this than meditation or hypnosis.. hmm?
